Eating Properly Ripe Fruit

Lately after expressing dismay at the selection of ripe fruit that is available in stores, several people have asked me about how to tell when a fruit is ripe and one even said, "How do you always get such perfectly ripe fruit?"

Well, it's not magic. There's a simple answer. And I've recorded the first of a series of videos on choosing and eating properly ripe fruit. In it we tackle Bananas - a fruit widely available in its unripe state!

I will post it here very soon.

Oh, and by the way, since it works well for the stores to carry hard, unripe bananas, a little advanced planning goes a long way. Buy a few extra bunches (or a whole case) and store them in a warm place to ripen safely and without bruising! Yum!!
